Latiscent - Tacnix - Statnix
LATISCENT is a family of specially formulated, long lasting micro-encapsulated scent additives for latex and other polymeric products. Latiscent is unique in that it can be added directly to the latex and retain discernable scent even after thermal curing. Latiscent's microcapsules are integrated between the latex molecules, and release scent over time.
There are over 3000 established recognizable fragrances, and Crusader will microencapsulate scents desired by our customers in special formulations compatible to both aqueous and oil based products. Latiscent is non-toxic, and non hazardous, and is compliant under FDA 21 CFR GRAS.
TACNIX is group of specially formulated liquid anti-blocking products designed to reduce tack, cohesion, and adhesion between two surfaces. Tacnix is water soluble and dilutable. It may be used as a dip or spray to allow easy separation of polymer slabs, sheeting, or crumb. When dried, Tacnix forms a layer on the substrate which can be easily removed later by washing. Tacnix can also be used for mold release applications.
TACNIXhas extensive shelf life, and is offered in 5-gallon and 55-gallon containers.
STATNIX is an additive blend that is used to lower the surface resistivities of natural and sythetic latices. This helps dissipate high electric charge densities on the surface, and prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD). Statnix will lower the resistivity into the "dissipation" range instead of the "insulation" range that retains electrical charge.
Statnix is compliant under 21 CFR 175,300 and 21 CFR 177.2600. Statnix is protein-free and silicone-free, and is odorless and non-toxic.
